Dr. Charles O. Manasseh

Dr. Manasseh Charles is currently working with University of Nigeria. He had worked as a project coordinator at Remif Rems Nigeria Limited, USAID MARKET II Consult from April to Oct.2015. He obtained an M.Sc degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2008 and a PhD in Economics in 2015 as a Council for Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) research scholar.

In 2014, Manasseh actively participated as a research assistant in Abakaliki Capital Territory Master Plan. From 2009 to 2010, he serves as the Program Specialist for the CBN-EDC project implemented by Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Research (CEDR), University of Nigeria Nsukka. Also, in 2008, he was actively involved in a study on the Assessment of Economic Impacts of Avian Influenza in Nigeria conducted by International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Ibadan in 2008 under the leadership of Dr. Okike. He participated as an Economist in studying, Pretesting and finalizing survey instruments and as well field work on primary data collection. As an Executive Supervisor, Dr. Manasseh was also involved in a study on Measurement and Benchmarking of Nigeria’s Digital Opportunities Index commissioned by Nigerian Communications Commission in August 2008 under the leadership of Dr. Nnaemeka Chukwuone.

Dr. Charles Manasseh has published in reputable international journals with international conferences experience. He has a strong econometric and analytical skill. His research interest cut across Financial Econometric, Capital Market, Micro and Macroeconomics, Financial Economics, and Economics of Institution, among others. He is an associate member of some professional bodies, such as; African Econometric Society, Development Finance Research Network, African Institute for Applied Economics (AIAE) and Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP).
